A Day of Practice and Teachings with Ajahn Karunadhammo
Please join PFOD in welcoming Ajahn Karunadhammo, a senior monk at Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery and a founding resident of the Pacific Hermitage, on Saturday, July 27. The day will run in person and online from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a meal offering at 11:30. Ajahn will also join us for Sunday Sila on July 28. Please join us for both or either event.
The topic is Developing Calm and Insight Together: Mindfulness Immersed in the Body.
Schedule
Ajahn will lead us in chanting, meditation, and Dhamma reflections. Meal offering is potluck.
9 a.m. Morning chanting, followed by meditation and teachings
11:30 a.m. Potluck meal offering
1 p.m. Dhamma reflections, meditation, Q & A (break as needed)
4 p.m. Closing, then move to garden level for tea and conversation
The event will be hybrid, available to both onsite guests at the Portland Dhamma Center and online. No registration is necessary. Come and go quietly as you please.
